Security to be tightened for Thaksin phone-in
Metropolitan Police Bureau will step up security on Saturday at Supachalasai stadium, where pro-Thaksin Shinawatra supporters will gather to listen to the ex-premier who is going to make a phone-in to a political talk show.
Pol Maj Gen Suporn Phansua, deputy chief of Metropolitan Police Bureau, said Friday that 450 police officers will be deployed at the venue to ensure safety.Police will also record the programme for record, he added.
