PAD wants new govt to revoke Thaksin passports

People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) released a statement Friday, demanding the new government to speed up lese majeste cases against ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra and revoke his passports.

The statement comprises of 13 issues that the PAD demands from the new government.

 

It includes the demand that the new government declares the stance not to amend the constitution and encourgaes to support good men to govern the country.

 

PAD also called on the government to reform media, which is to stop using the state media for its own benefits.

 

"If our demands are rejected or ignored, we are ready to stage a movement suitable with teh situation," PAD coordinator Suriyasai Katasila said.
